Kitchen

The kitchen was renovated in 2006. The fridge space was intentionally made wide enough to accommodate a reasonably large fridge plus a broom or mop beside it. The sink looks out through a window. The layout works well, as you can easily prepare meals while talking to people in the lounge room. The 'breakfast bar' is a great place to chat at the start and end of the day while waiting for the kettle to boil. (Bar stools fit nicely under it.) The benchtop is Corian and the sink is countersunk (so you can just wipe food into it with a cloth without having to go over a lip).
