Lounge

The lounge is the room between the deck, kitchen, dining and entry rooms. It could function instead as a dining room, and in some of the photos below, it has done just that. (The tenants preferred to swap the dining room with the lounge room.) It is a lovely room to be in, with lots of light (the deck faces North-East) and breezy openness. Entertaining is easy, with the kitchen flowing directly onto this space. You can notice in one or two of the photos below that the doors between the lounge and the dining room can be closed. These doors with brass handles are the only ones not in the original period style. They can be easily removed and stored under the house if desired.
